Let’s go back to the year 1995 (wow… already 14 years ago and some change). I’m going to sound so much like a ‘girl’ now, ha! ha!… here we go. Remember the movie ‘Clueless’ with Alicia Silverstone as the rich girl Cher Horowitz? Okay, do you remember that computer program she had with pictures of her whole wardrobe and she could select her outfit for the day, and it was electronically connected to her closet? Wasn’t it the coolest thing and secretly wished you could have one too? I don’t know for you but i did (Confession: I still do today).
Well, my secret wish came true (minus the electronic connection to my closet) in the form of an iPhone/iPod touch application conceived by a Canadian-based company team. This cool app is rightfully called Stylish Girl. Don’t worry fellas, if you’re looking for a closet organizer that will make you avoid shopping malls… there’s an app for that, and it’s called “Cool Guy”, “Stylish Girl’s male counterpart.
I really like this app on my phone. Even though it takes time to input your wardrobe into the app, you’ll find that time well invested afterwards. It helped me organize my actual physical closet, made me rediscover older frocks I forgot I had, thus making me realize I had more clothes than I thought! And while mix-and-matching for an outfit, whatever you’re missing, be it a shoe or a bag, can be found in a couple of clicks and purchased on their store in minutes. Stylish Girl, while helping you avoid wearing the same outfit twice in a week, month or even year, it will help you pack your bags for travelling and even put you in the know of latest fashion trends with their trend feature. Now how cool is that?

Opening a drawer full of tops does not help when thinking of what-to-wear since your eyes only see the ones on top. And the same applies for your closet, since all that is hung is shown to you sideways. Stylish Girl/Cool Guy will display your closet in front and ‘timeline’ style view… quite like the main page of the blog you are currently reading!!!
I could go on and on with additional elements of the app, but no. Here’s one thing that may convince you to get it besides the abovementionned features:
Hmmm… it’s free, need I say more?
’til the next plane…
