Fall’s Trendy Passengers: She loves her LBD

Dress shabbily and they remember the dress; dress impeccably and they remember the woman.- Coco Chanel

By M♥

I could go on with a list of fall’s trends “It” styles (actually I will on another post), but first I want to talk about a classic garnment, if not the utmost one that I believe will never go out of style. Our trendy passenger never travels without it… her little black dress, or should I say dresses. Why have one when you can have many?

From the original Little Black Dress by Coco Chanel in 1926 (before then, black dresses were worn only for mourning), to Audrey’s in 1961 Breaskfast at Tiffany’s, this classic item should be in every woman’s closet. And this fall, our trendy passenger will give herself reasons to where it more than once.

With so many designers out there, no one can say that they cannot find their ideal little black dress. Every woman can find one, no matter their budget. But why have a simple black dress when you can have one that just spells W-O-W? Play with textures and cut. It’s 2010… Don’t let the autumn’s falling leaves drag your style down, be bold in black!
