Fall beauties smell as sweet as… maple syrup?
By M♥
When I hear or read the words ‘maple syrup’, I think ‘sugar shack’, sweet breakfast of waffles and pancakes, and my lemonade detox (!). Recently, I was brought to add another term to my enumeration… Beauty. Surprisingly to me, I gladly learnt that maple syrup contains many beneficial natural virtues. Besides being heavenly delicious and sweet, it’s good for our skin too.
The company Citadelle, a Province of Quebec-based cooperative regrouping 2000 maple product producers, took that single aspect to create the world’s first high quality body care line made of maple syrup, maple sugar and natural maple aroma.
I tried the bath salt and massage oil. I personally loooove the massage oil for it isn’t too thick and with a smell like it has, makes you want to lather it all over every night after a hot shower before heading to bed, especially for the upcoming cold season. The bath salt are also a fave of mine as it hydrates the skin. I used it for my home mani-pedi, a delight.
Samara Di Acero line
You can find the Samara Di Acero line in all four Canadian Maple Delight boutiques (Les Délices de l’Érable in Canada in french). There currently are two in Montreal (at the airport and in Old-Montreal). The Canadian Maple Delight bistro-boutiques are the world’s only place that uniquely sells maple products. Something we, Canadians can mostly be proud of. The boutiques in Old Quebec and Old Montreal both have a museum dedicated to maple.
What’s not to love when it caters to your mind and body, inside out? I’m ready to head to the boutiques and grab the rest of the line… I want to feel and smell sweet. Don’t you? Live. Laugh. Love. Be… sweet! M♥
