“Have you tried the fall collection? Oh my God… can’t wait for the winter one to come – I believe I’ll go bonkers over it!!”

You might think I’m talking about a designer’s or fashion label’s latest collections? Well no… I’m talking about tea, dear readers. But not any kind of tea tea… Young Canadian-born, quickly becoming Montreal’s fave tea shop and label, Davids Tea.

With more than 100 flavors, Davids Tea isn’t shy on making us crave for more, and want to discover what else they have stashed in their sleeves. Besides the gifts and accessories one will find in the many tea boutiques they hold in the city, tea lovers will find their nook with their large array of flavor choices, from the traditional green to something more exotic.

Although the blends are divine in tastes and have their own personality (smooth & mellow, spicy & energetic, etc), health benefits complete the equation. Let me break it down for you for starters. Choose the benefit: calming, soothing, detoxifying, energizing, etc. Depending on your answer, the type will follow : green, black, white, maté, pu’erh, rooibos or herbal teas. Choose the flavor or preferred blend to animate your buds and cuddle your innerbody with satisfaction. If you like to follow trends, do the same with Davids Tea for every season has its own collection, making tea drinking sexy and stylish. Wow, never though I’d put sexy, stylish and tea in the same sentence!

Just before I go, I want to share my so-far favorite: Vanilla Oolong, it’s sweet and smooth. Hours of delight. I tend to mentally whisk myself away to a far away private white-sanded beach, with a nice orchid in my hair and a good book to read. NB: I am so not exaggerating on this one.
