AVOCADO Traiteur: Harmony is key!
by Gerardine aka Organik D’va
We (the ladies of Paperplanes) often get invites to cocktails around the city and one thing we love to do is make sure we know who the catering company is. We make a mental list to know whom to contact for future references. Nowadays the mass is taking the time to get to know wine and demand the best combinations (wine+diner).
Let’s face it, when you are at a cocktail, wines are often used as a ‘drink’ to socialize and have a good time. Sometimes I ask the waitress what we are having in the wine selection and quite often I get the ‘i dont know….red and white wine’. I am not offended by that response but somewhat disappointed. I like to know what I am having, I am curious like that!
Speaking of wines, I love all kinds but I must say that I have trouble with French and Italian wines. I am often left with a unsatisfied feeling…so far! Well from the french side I have discovered JP CHENET that is lovely! Still looking on the sexy Italian side!
In this wonderful world we are living in, we have people who just want to serve drinks to spice up the night without truly taking the time to select the right wine with the entrees that we are having….i mean it’s simply a cocktail right!!?
Well let me tell you that cocktails are truly important because food and music is everything during an event! ON the fashion side we have the fashion police well I am part of the food police! Every company should care about what they serve and put out there! As I have attended a few events from AVOCADO Traiteur, I can tell you that I have never been disappointed!
Everytime that we enjoy a meal and there is wine involved it is wise to look into that and get the best wine to accompany the meal to heighten the censorial experience. Where many of us are on a quest to create something new (as entrepreneurs) or even try to offer a new experience….one thing a wise man once told me is ‘Instead of trying to create something new, look at what is there and make a better version‘…. then a new world opened up for me.
AVOCADO Traiteur (one of the most prolific catering companies in Montreal) have done just that, look at what already exists (like Les Accords Restaurant) and come up with a different/better/more interesting version in the catering world! This catering company is known for their innovative concepts, waitresses wearing colored wigs and their delectable food created with love and passion with the best ingredients that nature has to offer.
Well to top that off, they created their twist of ‘La bouchée harmonisée’. The concept is simple, when you are attending an event catered by AVOCADO well there is a possibility that a team of beautiful waitresses serve you your entree and the wine that works best for the experience! Although this concept is not new, AVOCADO is always trying to bring things up a notch. It is all about the EXPERIENCE!
As you can see on the top picture, the ideas are endless and the impeccable presentation makes the EXPERIENCE as memorable as possible!
